Todd Correia Lt./ EMT-P
Todd has been a firefighter for 16 years and a Paramedic for 9 years. He began his career as lifeguard in Fairhaven, MA. Todd was an assistant instructor at
UMass Dartmouth’s, Red Cross Lifeguard certification program. In 1993, he joined the Fairhaven Fire Department as a call firefighter. That same year he obtained
his EMT-Basic certification. He was then appointed as a full time in 1995 and attended the Massachusetts Fire Academy that same year. After earning his Paramedic
certification in 2000, Todd was one of 6 Paramedics that started the Fairhaven Fire Departments Paramedic service. In 2005, Todd was promoted to the rank of
Lieutenant/EMS Coordinator where he heads up the Training and EMS division.
Todd has been teaching since the age of 18. He obtained his Massachusetts Instructor Coordinator certification in 2002 and is currently the BLS coordinator for SouthCoast Training. Along with running the BLS programs, Todd is also the assistant ALS coordinator and supervises all paramedic students through the Clinical and Field rotations. As if Todd doesn’t have enough work Todd was appointed the Assistant Director of SouthCoast Training as of January 1, 2009.
